Ole Gunnar Solskjaer officially unveiled as new head coach of Turkish Super League side Besiktas. Signing contract until June 2026, ending more than 3 years of stalemate

Solskjaer arrived at Atatürk International Airport on Friday. And was greeted by the club’s two vice-chairmen Hakan Daltabán and Khan Kasacci and board member Merve Öztopaloğlu สมัคร UFABET

“This is the first time I’ve met you, and I’m looking forward to my work. It’s great to be in this wonderful city.” 

Solskjaer has been out of management since being sacked by Manchester United in November 2021. Returning to Istanbul to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who was sacked the previous month. 

The whole game on Saturday in the Super League against Samsungspor (18 Jan) is probably too early to take charge of the team. The most you can do is watch the game in the stadium while Serdar Topraktepe is acting as caretaker manager. 

His first match as manager will probably be next Thursday ( 23 January ) in the Europa League against Athletic Bilbao .  

The Norwegian tactician has signed on to lead Beşiktaş until 2026. Overseeing both their domestic league and UEFA Europa League campaigns. This new chapter in Solskjaer’s career comes after a distinguished journey as both a player and a manager.
